The Oakland County Friend of the Court
Every Judge has a Friend of the Court Referee, counselor, support specialist and support staff to help resolve disputes and perform administrative functions. The Friend of the Court (“FOC”) can make Recommended Resolutions (orders) to parties and to the jhe Judge who has the final say. The FOC provides services to parties with minor children involving divorce, child support, spousal support, interstate and paternity cases and is located at 230 Elizabeth Lake Rd., Pontiac, Michigan a few miles from the Court House. You cannot choose your judge. However, you can choose your lawyer. Findling Law is located in Oakland County and is our primary focus of our practice.
